Make Up Haul!

Hello my loves!

I hope you all had a good weekend, I'm sorry I haven't been posting much this week I've been super busy with work and everything!

But I did find time to go shopping (I know, naughty!) and pick up a few bits and pieces that I've had my eye on for a while now and I couldn't wait to get home and play with it all so I could get on and tell you all about it! So here's what I got..

MAC Lustre Drops in Pink Rebel
Smashbox Oil-Free Photo Finish Primer in Light
Estée Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Mascara in Black
Smashbox Smoke Box Eye Palette
*The MAC Fluidline wasn't for me but I just thought I'd include in the picture, and I also bought MAC lipstick in Rebel and forgot to put it in there!
I also came home with a little sample pot of the Creme de la Mer Moisturising Gel Cream that I can't wait to try!
Swatches coming soon! 🙂

Sneak Peeks!

Hello my lovelies! 🙂

I’ve got some super exciting news that I’ve been dying to share with you.. I’ve had a little sneak peek of Benefit’s new Christmas gift sets, eek! 🙂 they are stunning! And last Christmas, my counter was sold out of the sets by mid November time so I’d snap them up quick!
I don’t have pictures of everything but ill do my best to explain them 🙂

So, first up we’ve got the Limited Edition Crescent Row Set. It features three minis of Benefits best selling fragrances (Laugh with me Lee-Lee, Ring my Bella, My Place or Yours Gina) plus new girl on the block, (which ill explain more about in a later post!) Under my Spell Noelle, super cute for Christmas 🙂 I’m yet to find out if Noelle is limited edition or a permanent addition to Crescent Row but as soon as I know, you’ll know!
This is the lovely Noelle..

It’s available from 28th September and is priced at £29.50.

Next up, we’ve got ‘Love at First Shine’!
This cute little set includes minis of all 6 shades of the ultra plush lip glosses from the recently launched Colour Collection. (Also, I didn’t take these pictures, I just want to clarify that lol!).

This set is £19.50 and the shades are:
Kiss You – Sheer Lilac
A-Lister – Pink Nude
Ice Breaker – Clear
Lollibop – Hot Pink
Poutrageous – Sheer Coral
Fauxmance – Berry Nude

Then we’ve got another one that I think looks great! It’s called ‘It’s a Love Fest!’
It’s priced at £39.50 and is packed full of Benefit goodies! And the packaging is gorgeous too, the set contains a Porefessional primer, They’re Real mascara, Sun Beam highlighter and an Ultra Plush Lipgloss in Coralista. Fabulous!

Next up is ‘Love it Up!’, a set priced at £19.50 and we’ve got 3 Longwear Eyeshadows in:
Call My Buff, Nude Swings & Thanks A Latte, all gorgeous wearable nudes,
A Creaseless Cream Shadow in RSVP, a surprisingly wearable pearly pink and an Ultra Plush Lipgloss in Dandelion, a sheer, shimmering pink.

‘Gimme Some Lovin’ is £39.50 and includes a They’re Real mascara, Hoola bronzer, a mini Highbeam highlighter and mini Porefessional primer.

‘Little Love Potions’ is a super cute set made up of travel sizes of:
It’s Potent eye cream
High Beam
Posietint lip & cheek stain
Stay Don’t Stray eyeshadow primer in Light/Medium
Watts Up highlighter
BadGal mascara in Black
That Gal primer
Ultra Plush Gloss in Hoola
I think sets like this are great, especially if you’ve been wanting to try a few things as it allows you to test bits and pieces before you commit to a full size product!

‘Groovy Kind of Love’ is £29.50 and contains a travel sized Porefessional and They’re Real, a benetint, Dandelion & Bella Bamba blush duo and a 4 shade limited edition eyeshadow palette.

‘Love Me B.Right’, I do love a good skincare set and this disappoint! It retails at £39.50 and includes an It’s Potent eye cream, Triple Performing Facial Emulsion, travel sized Total Moisture Face Cream and a travel sized Porefessional.

‘BadRageous’ comes in at £18.50 and includes the infamous BadGal mascara in black plus a mini travel sized edition.

Next, we’ve got ‘Primed for Lovin!’, this lovely set retails at £44.50 and includes full sized versions of the Porefessional, They’re Real mascara, High Beam and Ultra Plush Gloss in Sugarbomb! Amazing!

And finallyyyy, we’ve got the ultimate Christmas gift set, The Countdown to Love! A unique, quirky set offering 24 beauty treats over the 24days before Christmas! How exciting! The limited edition set is £50 and will be available to buy before anyone else during a flash sale on Nov 4th at the Benefit Carnaby and Dublin boutiques and from then on will be available from most Debenhams across the UK and Ireland!

I’m so excited to see these sets properly and I’m sorry I don’t have pictures of the last few but I can guarantee they won’t disappoint! 🙂

What do you think, will you be rushing down to your local counter to snap these up?

Lipstick Challenge!

Hello lovelies! 🙂

So, we’re into week 2 now of my lipstick challenge and I’m sorry but all the pinkness is just taking over, I’m literally obsessed with pink lipsticks at the minute, I just can’t get enough!
Today’s little baby is another of the Helen-E Cosmetics Lip Crayons that I showed you before. This time it’s a colour called ‘Celebrity’, highly appropriate in my opinion for the amount of attention that this colour will get you! It’s a super bright pink of almost neon proportions and I LOVE it!
What do you think?

It’s pretty, right?

Have a great day! 🙂

A/W ’13 Beauty Trends

Hello lovelies!

So this is the next instalment of my series on the best trends for the coming Autumn & Winter and today is all about the 60’s Siren, think Brigette Bardot beauty!
This look was spotted at a few shows this year including Kaufman Franco at New York Fashion Week and I just LOVE it! It’s feminine, bold and outrageously gorgeous.

Think strong brows, chiselled cheekbones and babydoll eyes combined with big, voluminous hair and your done! This look is all about stand-out eyes and you can get this by using a smokey grey shadow combined with lashings of black liquid liner and glossy, full lashes. Keep the skin soft and dewy and stick to a nude or light pink on the lips. Pair with a good old backcombed beehive and your good to go! 🙂

What do you think of this trend, will you be wearing it this winter? Let me know!

Lipstick Challenge!

Hello pretties!

So, another day of my lipstick challenge and the chosen one for today is ‘Girl About Town’ from MAC. It’s another one from the Amplified Creme collection, which I’m sure you all know already that I adore, they’re my favourite finish from MAC. ‘Girl About Town’ is a stunning, super bright pink with a purple-ish undertone, which I think makes it flattering for all skintones, it’s the ultimate Barbie pink, I think that’s why I love it so much!

I was feeling very pink today and I thought I’d match my outfit to my lippie, and I just had to share my Barbie dress and pink brogues with you!

What do you guys think, are you Girls About Town? 🙂

The Saturday Haul!

Hello my lovelies!

I was a little bad today and went to do some shopping.. And I just thought I’d share what I got with all of you 🙂
First up, I bought the MakeUp is Art book by the Academy of Freelance Makeup. I’ve had my eye on this book for a while now, there’s some stunning work in it by some of my favourite artists (ill do a more in depth post on it after I’ve had a chance to read it!) and some great tips if your looking into starting a career in the industry. Inside the cover its priced at £25 but I picked it up I’m Urban Outfitters for £15, bargain! 🙂

I also picked up a few goodies out of Sally’s Salon Services that I needed as I’m heading out this evening 🙂
I got some of the Little Mix press on nails, now as a qualified nail tech, I rarely wear stick on nails, but I thought these looked quite cute and I didn’t have time to do a full set myself so I thought I’d give them a go 🙂 I picked up Jesy’s set as I thought they were quite edgy and very me! They’re covered in spikes and studs and are just gorgeous, Ill post a pic later when I have them on!
I also got some Kirby hair grips, as I’m FOREVER losing these, you can literally never have enough of these babies. A Spornette back combing brush which I’ve been needing for AGES, and this one is called the Little Wonder #735115, and finally some Salon System lashes. I love these lashes as they have great staying power and they really last if you look after them. I usually go for the more natural look but I thought I’d go for something different and try the full volume BohoLash!

Love & Lipsick,
Tammy xoxo
