I’m backkk!! :)

Hello lovelies!

I apologise for being a bad blogger and disappearing off the radar for a few weeks, things have just been so busy since we moved to London, I’ve barely had any time to do anything! But, I’m back, we’re all settled into our flat and all our stuff has finally arrived so I’m back to posting regularly from now on and I have SO many products to show you and reviews to do so we better get started! 馃檪

Over the past few weeks I’ve just picked up bits and pieces here and there and also, it was my 21st birthday so I got a few goodies for that too and I’ve gathered them all together specially to show you! 馃檪

So as you can see, I’ve been having a little bit of fun with this lot!
Here’s the full list of what I got just incase you can’t see everything;
Collection Lipstick, Topshop Lipstick, Sleek Matte Me liquid lipstick, Collection Lip Definer, Lanc么me Blush Subtil palette, Mac blush, Nars blush, Sleek Brow kit, Maybelline Gel Liner, Lanc么me Hypnose Doll Eyes eyeshadow palette, Sleek foundation, Lush Cleanser, Babyliss Tangle Teezer and I also got the Argan Oil Hydrating shampoo but I forgot to include it in the picture 馃檪
I will do reviews on everything here separately but I just wanted to let you have a look at what I’ve been upto and products that have taken my fancy in the shops over the past month or two!
And as always, as beauty junkies, we do love a good sample or two when we buy products so I also picked up these whilst getting some goodies for family and friends for Christmas (and myself, of course!)

I actually got some really lovely samples, some of which I’ve tried out over the past few days and have really liked! So above, we’ve got a few things from L’Occitane; Precious Eye Balm, Ultra a Rich Body Cream and Milk Concentrate Face and Body Lotion, as well as the Cupcake face mask from Lush, Charcoal face mask from Origins and a little pot of the Sheer Matte Foundation from Nars in the shade Mont Blanc.

Instead of writing one super long post, I’m going to go off and do mini reviews on all these products for you guys over the next few days so I hope you enjoy them! 馃檪

Today’s Look & Outfit of the Day!

Hello pretties! 馃檪

Does anyone else subscribe to the newsletters from clothing websites and then when they constantly email you with offers of 50% off and free delivery?! For a shopaholic like me, this is dangerous territory, when I see that, I literally can’t help myself, I HAVE TO BUY STUFF! Ahhh!
This is exactly what happened to me on Friday when I received an email from Boohoo.com, telling me that there was free delivery and a half price sale. Well, credit card disaster.
On the upside, my order arrived yesterday and I bought this gorgeous skirt which I couldn’t not show you since this season is all about the punk spirit!

Fresh Faced Friday!

Hello my lovelies!

I decided to do a little bit of a tutorial for you today, just a round up of my general, everyday make up routine, hope you enjoy it! 馃檪

So, this is before the magic happens, fresh faced and ready to go! (Scary, I know :p)

So first off, you know I always start with my skincare. So to start with, I applied my Lanc么me Visionnaire serum, Clarins HydraQuench cream because I think coming into the winter time, my skin gets a bit drier so I need that extra little bit of hydration, and finally Clarins Moisture Replenishing Lip Balm purely because it gives the perfect base for lipstick, especially if your wearing a colour. It’s also super moisturising, which is great if you wear a lot of matte lipsticks, like me, and your lips tend to be drier.

So now it’s onto the base. I started with the Porefessional primer from Benefit (great if you have oily/combination skin like me, and open pores as well!), just applied with my fingers on the t-zone. I then buffed Doublewear Light foundation from Est茅e Lauder in 03 into my skin using the Stippling Brush from E.L.F. I also applied the Benefit Bo-ing Concealor (02) using my ring finger onto any little blemishes before dusting Creme de la Mer translucent Loose Powder over my whole face.

Next, onto the Contouring & Highlighting. This is the part people seem to have most difficulty with so ill do a separate tutorial on that later 馃檪 I started by dusting MUA Bronzed Perfection Bronzer onto the higher planes of the face (forehead, cheekbones, nose and chin). Then, apply the bronzer, lightly, (your not trying to look like you need to wash your face!) along the hairline, down each side of the bridge of the nose and underneath the cheekbones and sweep out wards to the hair line. Then, with highlighter, I used Watts Up! from Benefit, apply to the centre of the forehead, brow bones, cheek bones, down the centre of the nose, Cupid’s bow and chin and buff in using a foundation brush. Then, with your blusher, apply lightly to the apples of the cheeks and sweep out towards the hairline.

This should be what your aiming for:

Then it’s onto the exciting part, eyes! 馃檪 I used the Urban Decay Naked Pallete to cereal an everyday smokey eye look. I started by using Sidecar from the centre of the lid outwards, and then applying Naked to the crease.

I them applied Virgin as my highlight, to the inner corner of the eye.

Finally, I used Darkhorse (this is my most used colour in the palette, I blend it with everything!), on the outer crease and lid to add some definition.

Then, I simply added black kohl liner to the top and bottom lash lines and smudged slightly with my fingers, before adding They’re Real mascara from Benefit.

You can see the before and after here too, which I think is pretty amazing, my eyes go from having no lashes at all to almost looking like falsies (in a good way!).

Next, it was onto the brows! You all know i love a strong brow and if you haven’t seen my post on how to do the perfect brows, you can find it here..https://loveandlipstickforever.wordpress.com/2013/08/20/how-to-get-the-perfect-brows/, but this is what I used today.

Lastly, I added E.L.F’s Moisturising Tinted Lip Balm in Berry and we’re good to go!

This is what you should end up with!

Hope you had fun reading this guys,

Love & Lipstick,

Tammy xoxo

Skincare Favourites

Hi girlies!

okay, so anyone who has any idea about make up knows that a flawless face starts well before you even think about lifting those make up brushes, it starts with great skincare. Yours truly here has combination skin, which basically means I have dry cheeks and an oily t-zone so I’m going to show you some of my skin care favourites. These are the ones I use on a regular basis and that I think do wonders for my skin.

Image

Make-up Remover: Lanc么me Eau Micellaire Douceur (Express Cleansing Water for Eyes, Face and Lips). I absolutely love this, it’s by far the best make up remover I’ve ever used. It takes your make out off in literally one swipe and its gentle enough to use on your eyes too. It’s also great for taking off waterproof eye make up.

Toner: I love both the Lanc么me Tonique Douceur (Softening, Hydrating Toner) and the Benefit Moisture Prep toning lotion. Lanc么me is super hydrating, smells amazing and gives the skin the most amazing refreshed feeling. Benefit comes in a liquid-gel formula and is best applied with the fingers and dries in quickly which is great if your in a hurry.

Serum: Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair. I adore the advanced night repair, it does everything you’d want from a great serum, evens out pigmentation, controls oil and literally 聽locks in moisture to your skin. It also soaks in to the skin quickly so there’s no fussing about waiting for it to dry in before you can apply your moisturiser!

Eye Cream – Benefit It’s Potent! I literally adore this eye cream, it’s got the most beautiful texture and you can literally feel it doing good things to your skin! It’s got apple seed extract, burnette and cocoa extract to take down puffiness, lighten dark circles and moisturise the skin.

Moisturiser: Benefit Triple Performing or Benefit Total Moisture. The Triple Performing is a light daytime moisturiser, soaks in super quick and gives a great base for make up. The Total Moisture is a heavy duty moisturiser that I love for night time, it’s super hydrating and gives the most beautiful feel to the skin. It contains mango butter, which is a natural emollient so even people with psoriasis and eczema can use it. It’s also great for dry areas like elbows and knees!

Face Mask: Clarins HydraQuench Creme Mask. I literally adore this product. It’s the most hydrating facemask out there. It rubs on like a cream and doesn’t dry and harden on the skin like others which I really like because I hate that hard tight feeling! And your skin feels AMAZING once you take it off!

i hope you enjoyed my post today girlies and ill be back with some more rumblings tomorrow!

Love Tammy xoxo
